As I cut my own hair and I am a professional hairdresser I don't know John's tonsorial skills firsthand. I can tell you he is an enthusiastic gem of a person and always a delight to talk to and as his Vasel would attest he's also good at what he does!

Visiting Santa Monica from East Coast and my daughter and cousin told me I had to go with John for a haircut! They were right! Great conversation and on top fabulous haircut! Will certainly be back!

From the second I met John I knew he was my person. I was at a crossroads with my hair. I hadn't had it cut in over a year...add in I wanted a big change and was thinking bangs and cover the grey. John lovingly gave me the reasons as to why the bangs wouldn't really work for me. He also encouraged me to keep letting the grey grow in as its a beautiful grey, hard for me to tell and hearing it from a professional was exactly what I needed to continue with the grow out. So on top of the fact that he helped me with my hair woes, he is the most positive light soul you will meet. The entire experience was a joy. I wish I needed my haircut weekly!!!
