Not inly do i do events here but i'm also a client! I getz my fauxhawk bleached here and then go home and put hella colors in them spikes!
So i need to provide this update: OXY Salon on Cathcart is where style, music, and good vibes come together in a way that's truly unique.
Not only is it the go-to spot for cutting-edge hair styling (I get my mohawk dyed platinum here!), but the energy on First Fridays is off the charts. I DJ there each month, dropping some fatty beats, and the owner sets the perfect scene by providing complimentary drinks to keep the party going.

Jean-Marie did a phenomenal job, I only cut my hair twice a year usually and i’m pretty nervous when I go into hair salon. He made me feel very welcome and calm, giving me the best haircut i’ve ever had. I wish I could give more stars
top-notch salon especially for color treatment and fancy kind of hairstyles. Great place to go if you're putting on make up for a TV show or a costume party or Halloween or whatever prices are competitive for downtown Santa Cruz. Best of all they have DJs on Friday nights, and the place turns into a bit of a party. Plenty of local artists show their work and they have fashion shows coming up.
