I was a new customer to Faust and I had the best experience. I got hair extensions for the first time by Jenna and I am so happy with my hair! Jenna was so sweet and walked me through every step of the process; making sure everything was comfortable, well placed and worked with how I like to style my hair/life style. The extensions matched my natural hair perfectly and look amazing. I could not recommend a stylist more high, Jenna's care and attention to detail shine through in her work. Her happy positive energy made the experience that much better as well as the overall vibe of the saloon.

If you're getting your hair cut or colored by anyone but Hugo what are you even doing. Even after I moved back to LA, I still plan my Santa Cruz trips around when I need my hair cut so I can see Hugo at either Faust location. He has given me all my favorite hair cuts and they grow out so beautifully that I don't even notice when it's time for a new one. Six months ago he did my highlights and he blended them so beautifully that my new stylist (I moved to the east coast) was fawning over them and told me not to touch them and that the reason I can't see the grow out six months in is because of how well he blended them. Faust Salon is a Santa Cruz treasure. With two locations, down town in the heart of things and in Soquel, each have their own special personalities. The Soquel location is my favorite, tucked away by the brewery, it's an open loft like space, with high ceilings and lots of light. The staff are skilled and conscientious and so respectful of the clients and of each other. Sebastian quickly understood what I wanted and delivered with professionalism, care and precision. On My first visit he introduced himself in the front of the shop, said he would be right with me, then went back to his chair and organized everything, prepared for my haircut.
