Received a good decent haircut. Nothing fancy or complicated, so I'm happy with the results. If you want to get complicated with numbers and types of fades, this is not the place. This is the place for quick and dirty with reasonable results and price.

I used to go to a fancy salon downtown, the kind with all the bells and whistles like fancy coffee drinks and sparkling water served while you waited. There was joy in pampering myself every few months, but after being handed around to three stylists in as many years (because they kept leaving the salon) and then being cancelled on the week of my brother's wedding with zero options of being rescheduled, I felt like the loyalty I was showing them wasn't being reciprocated, and for nearly $200 a trip, that sucked. One day while walking down Mission St, I discovered Elegant Hairstyle, and I have not looked back since. The space is no frills, but Leticia is worth her weight in gold. She cuts my hair so well that even six months after my last cut someone at worked complimented me on the style. I know she does color but I haven't tried it yet (Covid gray is in these days, right?) I have been going for awhile now and on the last visit I was charged $40 for a cut and shampoo. Well worth it! In and out in about an hour. I am terrible about scheduling regular hair appointments but I am never sorry when I leave her salon. A real hidden gem!
