    Paulson, Jessica MD. Was beyond awful. She assumed and loudly revealed untrue facts about my medical history. LOUD and IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. I felt very uncomfortable with her and made me feel bad and not how a provider. People come into the ER for help. Not to feel belittled. I would ask questions or state concerns and she would not give me answers and cut me off mid sentence or brush off my concerns. She made it clear in her demeanor and behavior she did have empathy for me as a patient or showed me even a little of respect as a human.     I am writing this review for my foster son. His father, Lalo Reyes, was at Dominican for about a week after trying to over dose on pills. Then he got a UTI and he attempted suicide again. They knew he was suicidal. He should have received psychiatric care. Yet they released him. When he returned home, he killed himself.

    A couple of years ago I was in for a routine transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE). The staff checking me in insisted that I was in for some completely different procedure (I think they said lung biopsy or something -- so not noninvasive). Best thing is that they were militantly argumentative about it. What "saved" me (and the only reason I wasn't worried and didn't walk out of there right then) is that I knew the person actually doing the procedure. Reading current comments, doesn't seem like much has changed. I was in need of an aortic valve and ascending aortic arch replacement.
