I'm writing this review from my lovely, modern backyard which was completely redone by Chavez Landscape. My yard was a mess that included about 1,000 sqft of grass - occupied by gophers and voles (holes all over the place). Chavez Landscape removed all the lawn, installed gopher wire, synthetic turf, large pavers, and gravel. Now, it's a low maintenance, low water, mid-Century modern oasis! I love it! I worked with Angel to discuss the project and provided him with a picture of my vision for the backyard. Angel and the team completed the project efficiently, on-time as promised, and the result is top notch. I've had a ton of compliments. As the homeowner, the work magically took place while I was at work. I would come home to a tidy backyard ... then the big reveal was exactly as we had discussed and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Chavez Landscape!! My project was in Santa Cruz.

Jesus did a fantastic job renovating both our front and back yards. We have a very difficult site: steep backyard with serious erosion problems and collapsing old retaining walls (it wasn't done right ten years ago). We didn't have a clear vision of what could be done to create new useful space and solve the erosion problem. We were greatly impressed by Jesus's skills, experience, and visions in garden design. Everything, from landscape to hardscape, was great and beyond our expectations. He turned the muddy slopes into beautiful patios and stone terraces. He and his team are super friendly and fun to work with.
