The medical team at Saugus Animal Hospital are amazing in every way possible and they took outstanding care of my Goldendoodle when he needed urgent care on a Sunday afternoon. My dog needed stitches as he got cut while being groomed, I showed up with no appointment and without hesitation they took him in quickly to address all of his medical needs including stitching him up. Further more, the medical staff has called me twice to ensure that he is feeling and healing well and to see if I have any questions/concerns. I highly recommend Saugus Animal Hospital and highly recommend their entire medical staff. I will be bringing my dog to this hospital for all of his medical needs going forward.
I have always had good experiences here with both my dogs. None more than on 9/03 when I knew it was time for Bella to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The staff member that returned my call was so caring & they got us in that morning ASAP. Dr. Laura, the staff, & the techs were all so kind and compassionate throughout the process. I really appreciated them. Then, today, they sent a sweet sympathy card with paw prints So awesome. Thank you so much
My beloved German shepherd came here in March 2022 for a total work up (X-rays, blood tests, etc) bc he had not been doing well and we didn't know what was wrong. The vet was kind to us but diagnosed our boy with degenerative myelopathy (which is like doggy ALS) and said he would continue to degrade over time and there really wasn't any treatment. The best we can do was have him lose weight so his legs can support his body better and try to enhance his quality of life. We recently had to put him to sleep bc he suddenly developed Bloat in the middle of the night and had to take him to an emergency 24 hour vet somewhere else. It was heartbreaking for us. I received a condolence card signed by the whole staff today. I totally didn't expect it and it was so thoughtful and appreciated and made me cry again. We take our cats here and no doubt will continue to bring them here. Their pricing is very reasonable and we are usually able to get an appointment within a day or 2 when our furbabies are having a problem.
