Not only did I find the good 'doctor' condescending, but my lens prescription turned out to be too strong. I don't like having to live in a fishbowl. Thus, I have taken my business elsewhere.

I made an in person appointment with the doctor. The receptionist was helpful, precise and accurate with the information. Upon arrival, my temperature and blood oxygen were checked and after every use of a high contact surface, it was promptly sanitized. This included the medical instruments and testing devices. The doctor spent ample time explaining the results and engaged in delightful conversation. There was no pressure to purchase the glasses. All in all, a perfect visit.

I was nervous about finding a new eye doctor after switching insurance companies but I'm so happy I found Dr. Portman. He is very outgoing and all of the other staff members I met were very kind and helpful. I was concerned because I have a very unique prescription and an eye condition. But I was definitely in good hands and Dr. Portman actually explained a lot of things to me about my eyes that no other doctor has. I highly recommend Dr. Portman if you are looking for a new eye doctor.
