“Without exception, Fat Eyes is the absolute most seamless, convenient and overall positive experience anyone could ask for when looking for a website development company. In 2023 my brother and I presented Doug and Gina with a rather unique challenge, we were looking to create a legacy website to honor our father. Dad was a phenomenal graphic illustrator. He was naturally talented without a formal art school education. He never publicly commercialized any of his 60-year body of work. Our goal was to bring his story and images to a global audience. This naturally drew the attention of the Fat Eyes Team as they were extremely intrigued by our idea for this type of site. Basically, for two reasons: First, both Doug & Gina hold fine art degrees and once exposed to his work believed it was fantastic and second, they loved our idea of commemorating a very talented man that also would become the basis for a new business concept. Our plan was not as simple as it might sound. We needed to create our father’s biography by illustrating that portion of it with his diverse body of work from the 1940’s thru 2007 when he passed. The next step was to package the informational site and now add saleable art images through an e-commerce addition to the site. Sixteen long months later, after very detailed collaborative efforts from both camps, Club House Rags (clubhouserags.com) was born and launched to the world at large. The bottom line here is very simple and very impressive. We managed to take art images and fuse them with apparel creating a living canvas for Dad’s work. The end result, as Gina so brilliantly phrased, are “Wearable Commemorations”. We approached the Fat Eyes Team with a vison and a dream in our minds eyes to honor our father’s legacy. Doug and Gina embraced our project totally and completely as if it was their own. They turned our vision into reality by infusing it with their hearts and soul thus bringing our new company to life. We’ll be forever grateful to them for that.
