“I came out of town for my son's wedding. I found Chi Beauty Artistry on Yelp and Belle did my makeup and hair. I called Belle to book my appointment 3 weeks before wedding. She texted me the day before and asked to come early so I could have more time to get dressed. She showed up on time with her chair and make up case. I showed her a few inspiration pictures and she just knew what to do with my Asian skin. I trusted her to design my hair. My make up and updo hair looked so elegant! She is punctual, experienced and fun to work with. Thank you Belle for making me look beautiful on the big day!“

I was nervous on my trial day and Vanessa and Christina talked with me about our vibe, and my desire for a natural look and tried several different options with me. Mar was kind enough to accommodate last-minute additions from a close friend and family and on the wedding day, the team stayed with us for touch-ups for photos. “I worked with Mar and her team for my wedding and they were absolutely exceptional, I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. I was lucky enough to work with Mar for hair and Vanessa for make up. The trial was both so helpful and so much fun. They were both extremely flexible and open to feedback which made me feel comfortable enough to figure out what I wanted (which was different to the inspiration pictures I had selected - they were definitely not me!). I felt confident that they understood my hair/skin and knew what I wanted. I got my hair and make up done for the rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks - I highly recommend doing this - I was feeling a little nervous with all of the festivities starting and Mar ensured I was laughing non-stop and made me so comfortable and grounded. It felt like it kicked off the weekend so nicely. For the wedding day we had 11 people needing hair and make up, and I was concerned we would be starting really early, but we didn't need to start until 10am so I could enjoy the morning with my friends. In all my times as a bridesmaid I've never experience a team of artists work so quickly, yet make everyone look so stunning. Everyone was so happy with their look, and considering someone is usually unhappy, this was a relief! I can't recommend TEAM enough - it was one of the best parts of my wedding planning process. I got married in Santa Barbara, but would recommend seeing if you can work with them wherever your event is - they're that good!“

“Jen makes being waxed FUN and very comforting. She's fast and so good at what she does!!! I feel so comfortable in her presence and she truly makes the experience of getting waxed so much faster and easier than i've ever imagined. I live in Ventura now from living in Santa Barbara and I won't even look at another wax place. I have been going to her for the past 6 months and won't turn back. 10/10 recommend getting waxed by her. She's AMAZING & her studio is even cuter!!“

“First off, Krysta is simply amazing at what she does! I'm obsessed with her work and feel so much more confident about my lips. Beyond happy I found her. Most importantly, she's magnetic & holds a great energy. Visiting her feels like how it should when women go to a salon or to get their nails done. A fun, girls time away! To top it off, it's a great location. Beautiful, clean and well done studio located in the funk zone next to cute shops and restaurants.Grateful!!“

“Yesterday was my second appointment with Jesse Walcott Pell. Five months ago, Jesse freshened up the layers of my very long curly hair. Since then, I tired of my too-long locks because, most of the time, I wore them in a sloppy bun tucked under a cap. I planned all my Saturday's around washing my hair. Such tomfoolery! I was in desperate need of a new do! Jesse to the rescue! With my blessing, Jesse cut about ten inches from my hair and then layered it to showcase my natural curls. I didn't think I could be any happier. Yet, this was before Jesse enhanced my dark blonde mane with white and champagne highlights that blended with the emerging grays. I loooooove my new look! “I had them do my hair for the wedding, and it turned out more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. Lisa was my stylist. I did a trial in their back room, which is super cute and newly done. I had my wedding at a venue, and they came to do our hair there on site. Lisa did such an amazing job on my hair, and she even helped me change my hair for the reception. Her assistant helped all my bridesmaids with touchups. The assistant was so willing to help with any style they wanted, as well as just curling or helping put flowers in their hair. I wouldn’t have had anyone else do our hair for our special day. I highly highly recommend!!!“
