Integral Martial Arts

My local MMA school is considered to have a great reputation but is actually crowded with students teaching students. There is little one on one time with the instructors. Integral Martial Arts is a great school with a smaller class size enabling more focused one on one instruction on how to protect oneself and work with a partner. The instructor Nathaniel studied Leadership in college and also teaches Leadership workshops and Coaches as a career. This is a person who actually cares about good leadership and has committed his life to it. I drive an extra 30 minutes just to take classes at Integral Martial Arts and hang out with the students outside of class. The classes are great if you care about leadership, proper form, and fitness.

The principals and lessons that are taught here on the mat here are just as valuable off the mat in our everyday life experience and relationships. The mindful approach to understanding our development areas through martial arts practice with another is what I appreciate most. What works for me is the commitment to discovering and revealing each other' blindspots in an effort to improve our games and our trust in each other. We compete in an effort to grow together. We play in effort to enjoy together.
