From the initial consultation with our dog Manny to every subsequent visit - the staff showed us how much they really cared to understand our pet, his current capabilities, and recovery goals. Manny our Springer was facing something scary (an undiagnosed neuromuscular disease that left him quadriplegic) and the staff balanced their enthusiasm and hopefulness for him with knowledge and a respectful realism that never promised "miracles." I don't even have a pet, but I called Hydropaws because I was trying to find out how to find a therapy dog in SB for a person with disabilities. Jill went beyond by doing a little research for me without hesitation. This is what I call excellent customer service!

I began taking our then 14-year old Golden (Lucky) to HydroPaws to try to help him maintain mobility in his back legs. He had arthritis, and my vet thought he might also have degenerative myelopathy so we were looking for ways to keep him mobile. Karen and her team were wonderful, we started with the underwater treadmill, when that wasn't providing the results we wanted, Karen moved to therapy with an exercise ball. She and Jill were so wonderful to him - they were always happy to see him, giving him kisses, which he loved since he was quite the ladies man.
