Excellent work and customer service. Have relied on them for over 40 years. One big job over 30 years ago was when they skillfully added new oak hardwood to an extension of our dining room. It is as if it's always been there. A few weeks ago after they removed the carpet in the hallway and office the existing oak hardwood below were refinished. It also involved being creative on adding new wood to join what had been two rooms in the past. Beautiful results. Highly recommend this company for small or big jobs. Very honest.

I’m a local Realtor in Santa Barbara. We hired Douglas Flooring to refinish some 1950s original oak hardwood floors for a property we were getting ready to put on the market. The floors were in rough condition. Nathan Douglas absolutely transformed the floors they turned out stunning. Everyone who came to check out the home commented on how beautiful the floors were! I highly recommend Douglas Flooring and Nathan exceeded our expectations!

Since 1928 in the same town, on the same street, and in the same homes, our family has been dedicated to delivering exceptional service and flooring to the homes and offices of Santa Barbara. Stephen “Artie” Douglas entered the business of hardwood floors in order to survive in the growing economy while running his family ranch. Over the years, he became an expert in the trade and passed his knowledge onto his three sons. Upon his retirement, his middle son, Earl took over the business. With his honesty and keen business sense, Earl grew Douglas Hardwood Floors into what is now known as the best hardwood floor operation in Santa Barbara.
