Kevin is fantastic. He showed up on time and did not try to "up sell" me. In fact, he was so honest that he recommended a less expensive way that he said MIGHT work. It did! Incredible price. I have already recommended him to my nextdoor neighbor, and she plans to call him. In a year or two, I might be ready for the big job of sanding my oak floor. He gave me a reasonable estimate. He took the time to explain to me probably what caused my problem--housekeepers who apply wax products to the floor. I highly recommend Kevin.

I hired Carter Wood Floors based on a recommendation from a local real estate agent that listed my house. Kevin and his team showed up promptly and worked well with other contractors. His guys are hard workers and completed their work in a timely manner. The original project scope was to re-surface and re-finish: the Living Room, repair the older heater cut-outs with hardwood in the hallway and the two bedrooms in the older area of the house. The Carter team was willing to take on more work than originally bid. We decided to remove Carpet and Sub-floor in two additional rooms and install new hardwood there as well. Called on Thursday, talked to Kevin, a gentleman named Bill came out that day, gave me a very reasonable quote, in writing, which included the $ amount, it would be for each addition coat of varnish? They came on Monday, and started the job! I was called each morning, or told the day before, when they would be coming back. By Thursday, 3rd coat was put on, everything was cleaned up and my front room, dining room, and hall are free of carpet, and the difference between night and day! House built in 1957 and the floors turned out AMAZING! Pictures speak for themselves!
