I found Vicky's lovely salon thru a simple Google Search. Immediately I was drawn to the fact that she owns her private suite. As a woman dealing with hair thinning and hair loss, the idea of me going to a salon with multiple chairs in it make it's unsettling as I am overly aware of the hair issue I have. Vicky not only made me feel comfortable and seen about my issue but she gave me so much knowledge and advice on how to maintain the hair I already have and make it as healthy as can be. she introduced me to the Kevin Murphy hair brand and gave me step by step tutorials on how to use these in order for me to maximize the benefit of these products. I appreciate that she took her time with me when it came to sharing her knowledge and cutting my hair. It was my first time with a haircut experience this memorable. If you are looking for someone who has knowledge, skills, and great customer service. Vicky will be the one to check all of those boxes! She will absolutely impress you

Color Correction Treatment! I started using box hair color from Madison Reed back in 2018. I had never colored my hair myself prior but I was trying to save money and thought, "it can't be THAT hard". My hair was forgiving enough for the first year and then covid happened. I was already doing cuts and color myself so I kept doing it (read previous post). I continued until I found Victoria, she gave me an amazing hair cut but I couldn't really see all the beautiful layers because my hair was SO DARK. The box color said it would be a light brown but my hair eventually became dark and red!? I really did not like my hair anymore. I felt it aged me and made me look tired. I completely trusted her and decided I can invest in her fixing the mess I had made with the DIY hair color-in-a-box. SHE FIXED MY HAIR!! It took all day but my hair is healthy, and I LOVE the color! I was concerned with my hair being damaged by lightening but Victoria knows how the chemical reactions will work on hair and how to make sure the hair stays healthy. I am SO FREAKING HAPPY! I look like I used to when I was younger and now the plan is to blend in my grays every 8-12 weeks instead of doing root touch ups every 4 weeks. Victoria, I promise never to use box hair dye again. I have been getting my hair cut and colored with Victoria for a few years now. Every hair cut has been great! The Hide Away is especially hijab-friendly. There is complete privacy for anyone who needs it. If you wear the hijab and are in need of a new salon, this is your place to go. I would definitely and highly recommend Victoria and her services!
