Unfortunately, we no longer receive care due to the office no longer take Kaiser insurance. If ever do start taking Kaiser again, we will come back. They have a low cost plan for those who want to pay out of pocket.“

She also recommended a series of exercises for a herniated disc, meaning I didn't need a steroid epidural. Because she is always seeking knowledge about the human body and mind, Dr. Merritt is more than a traditional chiropractor. “I had never seen a chiropractor before becoming a mom. After I had my baby, I developed an awful ulnar nerve issue about 3-4 weeks postpartum that would cause my arms and hands to be numb, tingly, and like I almost couldn't feel my fingers anymore. Imagine how inconvenient (and scary) this is to a new mom. It was very likely due to breastfeeding and holding my baby in the same position for so long. I went to PT a few times and it did nothing for me and I felt like my PT didn't REALLY listen to me. My lactation consultant said she recommended I try John, the only chiropractor she ever trusted. I was skeptical but desperate and willing to try anything. (My PT tried to tell me not to go see a chiropractor so newly postpartum because of shifting hormones and yada yada yada.) Well, ONE visit to John fixed me. I kid you not, by the time I was driving away from his office I could feel my fingers again. I was blown away. And I never went back to that PT!! I do wish sometimes he had appointments but the drop in does work pretty quickly for me too and he's fast, friendly, effective. His assistant will send you a superbill if you need for insurance purposes but it may take a few days and reminders. You will get it eventually, just be patient. Fast forward almost 4 years later, I hadn't had any issues again until now and that familiar creep of a tingle in my pinky was coming back. This time it was likely due to improper desk ergonomics as I started working from home. I thought I better hurry up and see him before it worsens!! And it did help! Now at the end of the same year, I started having tension headaches. I went to a massage therapist for a few times which helped but then a few weeks later the headache would come creeping back. I decided to see John again. I have not felt tight in my neck and shoulders since seeing him and my headaches have kept at bay so far! (Knock on wood.) I am a little scared of the bone cracking but John is very quick and subtle about it and makes you feel at ease. If anyone, i I trust John because he's been magic every time!!
