I've had one encounter with Rick Tarantino. He came highly recommended to me by a mutual friend. my garbage disposal was 20 years old, a dinosaur. Rick knew what i needed and gave me a time slot very quickly. my experience is that he is CLEAN and efficient. I'm sure he could've stretched the timeframe but he didn't. in and out. Super guy. you won't be disappointed.
My water and energy bill doubled and my kitchen and bathroom floors consistently warm. After waiting a few months (due to covid) I called Rick Tarantino, he immediately knew my problem. My home is on a concrete slab and I had a hot water leak. I imagined and was told by others that I would have to jack hammer through the kitchen floor to find the leaking pipe. Nope, Rick explained that he could re route the pipe above surface through the walls. With minimal inconvenience Rick, Manny and his crew did exactly what was proposed for half the cost expected. So, when my sewer pipe broke in two places I didn't hesitate to call Rick. From prompt start to finish my dual nightmare was over. I cannot recommend this company enough for their quality, excellence and knowledge. A true gem in Marin County.
I had a pinhole leak that drove me nuts trying to find. Turned out it was caused by galvanic corrosion of a copper hot water pipe touching a steel drain pipe. The corrosion had reached a point where it weakened the pipe wall. But the leak came and went due to thermal expansion so I would sometimes find a puddle and at other times it was dry (although lately it was mostly wet). Thanks to the professionalism of the guys at Tarantino Plumbing, they found the leak and fixed it by taking out the damaged section and re-routing it so it won't happen again! They wore their masks at all times, took off their shoes when inside, and cleaned up before they left, not that they made much of any mess to begin with. Highly recommended!
