MCIL has excellent, friendly and prompt customer service. I phoned to get some services for friend. Within two days they were at his home setting up a safe bathroom. The variety of services they provide are invaluable to the community.
Wow. What an absolutely amazing, lifesaving and loving service. I am still speechless about the immediate response we received on a weekend, a week before Christmas. One phone call to Kathleen and she put her team into action; within hours we had a 24 hour nursing staff coordinated for my MIL, who had major back surgery and horrible side effects from the anesthesia. Kathleen was there for us EVERY step of the way - even when she was not supposed to be working, she was still working. What a gift she is. We had no idea what to do when the Doctor told us my MIL needed 24 hour care. I remembered MCIL and thought - well I'll just ask Kathleen who she might recommend for us to reach out to. As soon as she picked up the phone she swooped us up like family and took the reigns - checking in every step of the way and adjusting where needed; going above and beyond her call of duty, I'm sure. I could sing MCIL from the rooftops as a result from the stellar treatment we received, and so timely. The Doctor had told us she was to be discharged that very day, and by that night we had a nurse on the clock. I am forever grateful, and hope that if you are reading this and have any question in your mind about how MCIL can work for you and your family - just call Kathleen, she'll help you.
I can't say enough about the professionalism and compassion with which MCIL works and supports the aging and in-need community of Marin. My mother is 94 years old and during the virus, it became critical that we care for her at home. She had been in a great care facility but given her recent dementia diagnosis, it was no longer possible for her to stay. We had to assemble beds, bars for safety, ramps, and caregivers in less than a week. We could not have done it without MCIL. Their staff was flexible, very knowledgable as well as caring and patient. My family and I are so very grateful for their service and support. I feel extremely lucky to live in Marin with such an organization. They are literally, lifesavers!
