I have started using Jaime's for various alterations over the past six weeks. The prices and service are great. Now I won't go anywhere else! The staff is thoughtful and kind--nice people to give one's business to.

I took dress slacks for hemming to this storefront shop in an office complex on Redwood Highway. It houses a very professional operation. Efficiency, results, and cost were 5 stars. Details: The tailor met me in the waiting area, escorted me to a dressing and measuring room, and quickly measured and marked my slacks. He took one look at me and provided expert advice about the appropriate length for “gentlemen’s” dress wear. Wear the shoes you will most often wear when you have slacks hemmed. I will take more clothing there for alterations.

This is the only place I go for my alterations. I tried another spot in Novato only because Jaime's is closed on the weekends (which is a bummer), and I paid the price. Not only was the place in Novato expensive they left my pants uneven :-(. Lesson learned.
