I bought a Valor gas insert here 9 years ago. It's worked great until recently I had trouble shutting it down. I called Hearth and Home and Scott helped me determine the most likely cause over the phone...the receiver, which needs to be replaced every 7 years on average. I came into the store and he showed me how to remove it and change it out with a new one myself, saving me an expensive service visit. I successfully changed it out and it's working perfectly again. This store sells a great product with wonderful customer service!
I have only the best things to say about this local company. I purchased my beautiful insert from H&H and it is wonderful. What is even more wonderful is their customer service. These people care, and their support with issues with your insert is unmatchable. I had a light issue with my insert, and although it took a few tries to fix it, Kevin, with his support of Steve the owner were finally successful in fixing the problem. Scott (and Shannon) in the office are extremely personable and are there to assist you with your needs. It is rare to find a company that stands behind their product, but Hearth and Home will be there for you when you need them.I am grateful for their service and commitment! All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Starting with Miles, who answered all our questions and was clear about the wait time, talking with staff who answer the phone & finance, ordering the unit with Scott, and the quick scheduling for the instillation once our unit arrived (earlier than expected!). A big thank you to Nick & Travis who came on a rainy day to do the instillation and were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. A great group of people and we are so happy with the results. Julie S.
