“I never really write reviews, but in the case of Tamalpais Floors I’m willing to share with you a note I sent them after their masterful installation of my beautiful new floors they helped me select. It read:“I wanted to let you guys know what a pleasure your crew was to work with. Top notch, super friendly and professional and with really good taste and opinions on all the little things that came up along the way. Sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye to Silvestri, or get him in this picture, but that guy is exceptional and obviously really cares about everything being just right. We kinda miss them!I also want to thank you for your advice Dermot, from the direction of the herringbone pattern, to how far to go leveling the family room floor and also your suggestions and help with my closet cabinets. The guys cut 1/8” ply sheets to size for me and I painted and hammered them in with about a thousand nails.And thanks to you David for your 2 year (?) stretch of patience as we bellyached over what floors to go with. “I wish I could give them 10 stars. Jeff is the perfect mixture of easy-going and detail oriented. I stumbled across his shop one day after visiting a few larger businesses, and he immediately put me at ease with his professionalism and knowledge. I went in to the shop four or five times before deciding on a final floor, picking up and dropping off samples each time and never felt like I was being annoying and indecisive even though I was! When I changed my mind mid job, about a section of the floor, he pivoted easily. Everything about the installation process was seamless. Jeff came over to measure and answer questions, and his installers were a pleasure to have around, and the quality of their work was outstanding. I worked with several other subcontractors on this project, and without a doubt, this was my favorite.“

“Our neighbor along with us needed the floors in our building replaced. A man from Pacificontract was sent out (wish I had gotten his name). He started with our neighbors floor which literally took all day. By the time he got to us it was almost 5:30 pm but he came to work. I had seen him running back and forth all day and could not ask him to tackle our project that late. I told him he could come back which at first he did not want to do. Not because he did not want to come back, but because we were expecting our floor to also be done so he was going to do it no matter how late it was. I had him come back anyway and he was wonderful. Not only did he do a fantastic job, he was professional, polite and courteous. Thank you Pacificontract!“

“Larry Klosowski and his able team of Glenn and Steve, spent roughly two weeks refinishing a few thousand square feet of hardwood flooring in our home. Larry and his team operated very carefully in our home, caused no collateral damage to walls or anything else, fulfilled every commitment they made, and completed the job on time. Service afterwards was also spectacular. Price was reasonable. If I will ever need more work done to the floors, Rode Brothers will be the company I call first.“
