I run a water/mold remediation business. I had a job in Playa del Rey where a large walk-in closet had extensive mold damage. To safely remediate the mold I needed to encapsulate and remove all the impacted building materials. I recommended Silva Construction to the homeowners for the closet build-back (drywall, paint, closets). The homeowners were really happy with the result, and impressed with the honesty and professionalism they experienced with Silva Construction.I will refer Silva Construction again for the next time I have a mold remediation job that requires build-back.

I could not speak more highly of Silva Construction as a top notch general contractor. We purchased a house in Manhattan Beach and came to find we had an extensive and unknown waterproofing issue. I met with 8 contractors and Dave was the most thorough and conservative in what was needed to be done to solve the problem. He was also the most affordable.He took the time to diagnose the problem rather than jumping to a solution. The result ended up being a combination of gutters, concrete, sloping, siding, new walls and drainage - but now I can feel confident that this issue won’t come back as it was handled so thoroughly and diligently.In addition to the waterproofing, we hired them to do renovations throughout our entire house including installing a new powder room, installing new lighting, new tile, windows, doors, painting, wallpaper and electrical as well as many cosmetic things from doorknobs, chandelier, shelves, gate, building a new mantle and much more.They are a family run business and take great care and pride in their work. They bring a great mix of function and aesthetic and their pricing is fair.I have received so many compliments on the transformation of my home and even after our project finished they continue to be available anytime we need something. They did such a great job that a magazine has asked to profile our house!I highly highly recommend Silva Construction!!
