We have used Matt for both our dogs. Both dogs were special needs dogs and were scared of grooming until they met Matt. Our first, a little Westie mix, had oral cancer and Matt handled him with TLC, by making him clean, soft and comfortable. Matt was the only groomer ever who Melo wagged his tail for.Our new dog is a poo-chi mix, a street rescue from Mexico. She is afraid of all strangers, but from the first time she met Matt, she would nestle in his arms relaxed and contented. Brie has a wire coat and Matt taught us how to care for it. Her haircuts look great and she emerges from her spa experience soft and smelling clean and fresh!

Hazel has a perfect new haircut thanks to GROOM-R (Matt & Lance). Came to our house and turned our ragamuffin, matted, looked like a homeless waif dog into a beauty queen. We are on a regular 4 week schedule to keep Hazel looking gorgeous. Matt and Lance totally came up with a perfect long lion cut. WE LOVE MATT AND LANCE ALMOST AS MUCH AS WE LOVE HAZEL. Recommend them to all my San Pedro and Pennisula peeps!!!! Great service and these guys really LOVE dogs. I feel so much better having Hazel groomed in my own home. Just feels safer and less stressful for ALL of us.

Matthew is a great! I was looking for a groomer that could handle my 10 year old aggressive Schnauzer. He hates getting groomed. Matthew was great with him and accomplished what others couldn't do. Sophie is also 10 and is recently diagnosed with Cushings and SARDS. Matthew was very careful with her and she looks great. Thanks Matthew! We'll be back!
