“During all the atmospheric rivers we've had this winter, I was surprised to find a flood in my crawl space. After hiring another company to pump it out and install a temporary pump it was recommended that I have a French drain installed on the side of the house. I called Ward Construction and Henry came out to look at the problem. He sent me a contract proposal and I showed my kids and they thought it was a good company to do business with. It took several months to start the job but after a week of work and some noise it's done! I have to thank Raffa, Jose and Sergio for their good work. They cleaned up everyday and helped me with some decisions. I highly recommend Ward Construction for any job like this.“

We were very happy with Harvey Construction as they were timely and professional in coordinating our inspection. Jim McEvoy was our inspector. He walked us through the entire inspection process and explained the root causes of any pests. As new home owners, we sincerely appreciated how he helped us prioritize issues and give us ideas on things to look out for with our home. Jim prepared a report on extremely short notice - under 24 hours so that we could be prepared for a plumbing inspection. Jim is professional, charismatic, and great to work with. “I worked with All Things Good recently and had an excellent experience. I had a wall gas heater removed and an electric heat pump with two mini-splits installed. Things went well from start to finish.First, Casey came out for the initial evaluation and proposal. He was knowledgeable, helpful and his communication afterwards was prompt. He recommended adding in insulation which I have noticed has made a big difference already in maintaining the temperature inside my home. He also informed me that I would be eligible for a GoGreen home loan to help finance the project which was a big help.Next, Ricky, the lead on the installation team was also very communicative. He kept me informed about the timing of the project. The install team was friendly and worked quickly. Ricky also helped me afterwards with the warranty.Alex, the owner of the company, walked me through the GoGreen application and gave the supporting documentation to the loan company for that. He was communicative and very helpful in that regard.Lastly, Stacie who works in the office, drove out to my house today to be sure that the rebate forms are in order to qualify me for the rebate. I was so appreciative that she took the time to do that.All in all, I felt that this was one of those rare companies that treats you like they would treat a family member. The price they gave me was the same as another Bay Area company, but the service, the help with the GoGreen loan and the help with the rebate made them stand out. I am thinking about another project and I will definitely go back to them.“
“I have found Alward Construction to be such a class act. Along with work they did on my house, they poured the perimeter foundation for my accessory building 10-plus years ago. Shortly after that, I needed to put the accessory building build on hold. Recently, upon resuming the accessory building build (on my own), it came to my attention that a hold-down was missing. It truthfully felt odd and embarrassing, on my part, to reach out to Alward Construction after so many years, But I did. Mark was understanding and treated the situation as if they had poured the foundation last week. Not only did they come out to install the bolt, Mark sent Rafael, the builder who was the Lead on the my project more than 10 years ago and Rafael's right hand person from more than 10 years ago! I was grateful and impressed by how Alward Construction has managed to retain these excellent builders and how Mark, without hesitation, stood by the work they did more than a decade ago.“

“Our space was fully transformed into a modern, lush outdoor gathering space thanks to Erol and his team! They impressed us from the beginning, with their thoughtfulness in communication and dedication to our project. We hired Erol to design and renovate the backyard of our North Berkeley home; the yard was fully gutted to create a space to truly live outdoors: areas of concrete for our son to play, beautiful trees, native plants throughout, and new fencing for the property. Erol and his team also built and installed a large front gate - the work is so beautiful, and we get many compliments on the gate and entire yard. I plan to hire Erol again for future projects.
