I recently read that Contra Costa has almost 200,000 Medi-cal patients (most of whom now have to be seen at Contra Costa Health Plan clinics such as West County Health Center), in addition to a number of commercial patients as well (such as current and former county employees). This is why they tend to be so overwhelmed and unable to provide all services in a timely manner. Doctors have always varied in quality; I think that's true everywhere. I want to recommend to those complaining about the lack of return calls: I find that the easiest way to communicate with my doctor and others at West County Health Center is to communicate through the online MyChart.
I called to the appointment line, and usually always some nice people help me, but today I called early to make a appointment and I have a very bad experience, a woman of name "Patricia", she was unhelpful, she said the law change and now kids should has a physical exam every 2 years instead of every year, usually the personal look when my dougther doctor has appointments available, but she didn't help me with that plus she was so rude. People like didn't should work there if they don't want to help.
If I come here without money and no health insurance and no documentation and no identification and no income proof and need tests specifically for my pre-existing heart failure will they still take me in?
