Very weird experience. I called the number on this listing at the recommendation of a person from my neighborhood group. The man who answered the phone had a very strange exchange with me (yes, I double checked the number). If you dig deep in the "not recommended" comments on this business there's a comment from this business owner making some very odd race comments. I don't know exactly what has gone on here but it appears the person in question might be unwell and not operating his business at this time.

Mendez Fence built a 60 foot long fence for me a couple years back and I was sure I had written a review on Yelp but I cannot find it so I am writing one now. Julio did a fantastic job on the fence, which was made out of top grade redwood and which still looks great several years later. Julio worked quickly and efficiently and the job was done extremely professionally. I have had many compliments on the fence in the last couple years. In addition, Julio and I went to the lumberyard together to select the wood and he hand selected the boards that he used. Really above and beyond what one could expect and the result was a beautiful fence. I give Mendez Fencing my highest recommendation.

Julio and his team did an extraordinary job. The fence looks fantastic, it’s exactly what I asked for, they worked unbelievably fast (I was very skeptical about their estimated time, and I was wrong), Julio was very communicative and answered all my questions, they cleaned up the whole surrounding area to look better than when they started, and the price was competitive or better than all other estimates I got. To top it off, they were extremely nice. Couldn’t recommend more.
