“Heartcore is the perfect blend of everything you want in a high-intesity pilates workout. They have that "it-factor" with their Instagrammable aesthetic, friendly instructors that keep you inspired, megaformers that make sense, and full-body classes that burn like hell but keep you coming back. Needless to say, I'm ADDICTED to this place. I've visited a lot of the popular pilates spots in the Bay Area and I believe nothing compares to this community. Everyone that works here has this contagious, bubbly energy that you can sense the moment you walk in. The people and culture they've created around this place are seriously unmatched. Couldn't rave enough about their staff! Also, I highly recommend this if you're a lagree lover or die-hard reformer warrior. In my opinion, you get the best of both worlds here! Difficult enough for experienced pilates princesses, but also manageable enough for beginners too. Either way, these classes are humbling but I promise you will love the burn!“
“Small studio that provides focused attention. Instructor was great. The class provides a full body workout.“
“Update! I continue to go to this studio 2 to 3 times a week. I am noticeably stronger in my core. And, most amazingly, my back pain that I have had for literally decades is almost entirely gone. This studio is fabulous!“
“If you want to feel stronger, younger, more energetic & active, join a class with Pam Harris at her Coast Pilates & Fitness studio in Shoreline. Four years ago at age 70, I enrolled in her personal training class twice a week. I'm in better shape now than I was when much younger. Pam works with you to stregthen your whole body while keeping your body more flexible, yet not going beyond what you can handle. Class with Pam never feels boring as she uses different techniques, exercises or tools to tone and stregthen your body. She motivates me to continue improving my physique, physical mobility and to stay in good health. Pam is a great instructor, fun to work with and I'm proud & excited to be her student!“
“I've been studying Pilates with Harriet for over 20 years. The changes I have experienced in my body are dramatic. I have more strength, flexibility and better posture than I did 20 years ago. As well, I have increased my bone density per my latest Dexa scan.Pilates is not just an exercise, but an art form. I had studied with another studio before I found Harriet, and she transformed my practice from good to great. Her body awareness, intuition, and ability to bring a wealth of knowledge from other disciplines into her teaching is unique.Harriet has an uncanny ability to see what I'm doing with my body even through baggy clothing and give me queues to correct my form and activate the right muscles to perform the exercise for the most benefit..Every session is tailored to give me just what I need that day. I can't recommend Harriet enough for anyone who wants to take their Pilates experience to the next level.“
“This week, I tried Pilates for the first time at RockSalt Studio in Redwood City. My friend dragged me out of bed at 6:00 AM for this adventure haha. Luckily, finding parking was a breeze since it was early. Walking into the studio, I was blown away by how clean and cozy it was. The instructor gave us a warm welcome, setting the vibe for the whole class. She explained everything in a way that even newbies like me could understand, which was a huge relief. What I loved most was how chill the class was. I didn't feel pressured to keep up with everyone else; I could go at my own pace. The instructor was so positive and helpful, always making sure I was doing the moves right. Plus, the equipment was top-notch and easy to use. After the class, I couldn't wait to come back for more. It was such a great experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next session.“
“Quite spacious gym located inside the office building at Tower 2. I recently signed up after leaving my primary gym. I had some must-haves when joining a new gym and this gym met it all. It's super clean, spacious, all the equipment I need. For public access, there are no weekend hours but M-F they're open 5am to 9pm. Bonus, there is also free parking.“
“I joined the club looking for stretching and something healthy to do. I went to the intro class and the environment was welcoming and supportive. I had never done Pilates before and wasn't in shape. I have really enjoyed the sessions and look forward to going. The studio is very clean. So far I have mostly liked the instructors. Here are my tips:1. Sit in the middle of the class if full so you can hear the instructors directions. The one time I sat on an end I could not hear a thing and missed a lot.2. If you are a beginner the classes fill up quickly if you don't have a flexible schedule. Weekend and early evening classes fill up weeks in advance. I have wait-listed and had zero luck, they encourage you to do the waitlist but it has not worked for me. If you can go mid-day during the week you should be fine.3. If you don't buy and unlimited visits pass, you can't sign up for the next month until your renewal date and credit replenish. Thus point #2 it gets hard for the next week or so to get in. If you don't use all your credits you can ask for it to carry over, but you do have to call and ask, it is not automatic, that is a little annoying.Overall tho 5 stars as I have enjoyed the classes and I like planning ahead and knowing when I am going. Would recommend for all ages and body types.“
“Amazing staff and location. Wish list: More parking and larger studio. Better temp and lighting would help with ambiance.“
“This location has one of the most attentive staff you could ask for at a gym. They are diligent about keeping machines and workout areas clean everyday as well as keeping the machines and equipment up to date in terms of maintenance. Love this facility and would highly recommend for anyone thinking about joining a gym! :)“
“I took their 60 min Hot PIlates class and it was very challenging with the heat. At this point, I have only done two hot yoga classes also at the same temperature of 105-110 degrees but doing pilates in that level of humidity and heat is a whole other story. The studio is very spacious and I have not sweated so much in my life until this class. I could really feel the heat continue to compound for me at the last 20 mins of class. It provided a good opportunity to keep pushing through and get through every single exercise and rep the new instructor was providing. Lastly, the new instructor was extremely friendly and helpful. She let me know how to improve my form for a few exercises.“
