The clinic was also praised for its focus on the pet's well-being and the genuine concern shown by the veterinarian, Renee "Tino" Luchman, who went above and beyond to address the pet's issue. Additionally, the clinic's professionalism and compassion during a difficult time were appreciated by another pet owner who had lost their dog.
My golden girl Susie has been to this amazing emergency hospital a few times along with her friends. She sometimes likes to party hard and eat things like tennis balls, cloth, etc when I am away.
I have been to Sage, and numerous other ER's with a retriever (those who have one can relate). This hospital is on par with UC Davis. In fact several of their vets trained there (and extensively on the research side).
I feel they are thorough, extremely reasonable on cost and most importantly as my dog has NOT been critical they update me as they are a ER hospital and have emergencies coming in 24-hours a day. .

I had to bring my Dog in last Sunday night. He was throwing up all day and in pain. Within hours my dog had been diagnosed and given medication and on the road back. I was impressed with treatment and the care for my dog. I was well informed about tests needed and treatment. This place is expensive.. BUT when your pet is sick in the middle of the night. You really need a GOOD PLACE TO GO. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THEM..
My dog scratched her skin so hard she caused a skin wound on her jaw area. I had a choice to come to North Peninsula Vet or Lenity Vet next door. Since Lenity Vet charged me so much money in the past I decided to go to North Peninsula.
What a great choice. The doctor said my dog had a hot spot on her jaw area. They cleaned the wound and gave some antibiotics. The price was very reasonable and the communication waa great. My dog is much better now!
I highly recommend their service.
