I went here to get my very first set of acrylics, they did a stunning job which i was obsessed with so I came back the next month to do a design with high expectations....buuuut I raised my expectations too high and it was horrible. The lady's hand was really shaky and messed up the design, yet she was proud of it. She re did it more than 20 times. I can't even. Yall I recommend JJ nails, it's across from this place.

Friendly service, got me done quick. Very affordable prices. Big ouch on the pedicure experience, though. They took a bit more of my nail than my toe wanted to give and I left with a less than relaxing experience because of it. Would have been 5 stars if not for that.

TLDR; got berated, and the manicure was terrible. :( Hm... where do I begin. I am a big fan of local businesses and normally hate giving poor reviews but this visit and experience merited one. I went in for a gel manicure today and was directed to sit in the chair next to my friend who was getting a pedicure. They turned the water on and even though I told them I wasn't getting a pedicure, they insisted that I dunk my feet in. After I did but re-explained I was only there to get a manicure, one of the ladies told me that I needed to pay $10...because I used the water and chair. $10. My friend told her that charge was unreasonable given we'd already said I wasn't getting a pedicure, and the lady dropped it. I should have probably left then and there but I went ahead and got the gel manicure with the same lady. It was horrible. Probably the worst manicure I've ever received, please see photos for what $30 got me. Cuticles weren't cut properly, no filing, the gel was applied thickly but unevenly so it looked bumpy and transparent. My nails looked like absolute garbage. I did still pay her the full amount but I told her that this manicure wasn't what I had been hoping for. She then started berating me and told me that if I sat down she would do it again, properly the second time around. What?? Why not do it correctly the first time?!! After I explained to her I didn't trust her ability to, she started raising her voice and said that she didn't apply another coat and that doing this would fix it. Again, I don't understand why that coat wasn't applied in the first place. My friend and I told her that she was being unprofessional by raising her voice at us and that she didn't need to be so elevated; we also had already paid at this point. She continued yelling and the other employee apologized, saying "she's just loud." Not an excuse. I would not recommend this business and the only reason I'm giving it two stars is because this is the only time I've visited and perhaps this lady is an anomaly. By the way, right after this, I went straight to another salon (called Relaxation Nails about 7 min walk away) and they fixed my nails quickly and beautifully. Highly recommend going there.
