Very skilled and very willing to work together for the style you want. They are very knowledgeable of Asian hair types and styles. Kind of difficult to find because I've never seen the small staircase in between the buildings in downtown San Mateo, but once you know where to go, it's not hard to find at all. They keep the place very clean! They only accept appointments through texting (not calling), so if you're not comfortable with that, definitely think about that. Also they prefer Venmo or cash so keep that in mind as well!

Love my haircut! I was waiting for a couple of weeks after and it's still looking great. I have a curly hair and it's really tricky to manage. King did it perfectly. I will book my next appt now.

Excellent overall experience! My hair went from blah to exciting. I was overdue for a change and they absolutely delivered. I am beyond thrilled with my new hair. They were so exceptionally sweet to my 5 year old daughter too. They speak multiple languages - English, Cantonese and Mandarin. They had a fair number of clients coming and going - some just for a short trim, others like me going for a complete make-over.
