Dr. Inna has helped not only my dog, but myself. I have a 14 1/2 y.o. Standard Poodle who originally came to her with very bad arthritis and muscle atrophy in his hind legs. He was feeling better after even her first treatment. Shortly after that, he started having severe gastro problems which she was addressing with Chinese herbs. When he continued to lose wait, she diplomatically urged me to his internist to go forward with more testing. She was so right, as he has lymphoma. He is on daily chemo now, and she always checks in on him and makes treatment adjustments as necessary. He has gained 6 lbs. back! Throughout her work with him, Dr. Inna has been honest and caring about Reggie’s condition. The fact that she practiced western veterinary medicine prior to acupuncture, is a huge plus, as she can act in coordination with his “western vets.” This gives us a very holistic insight into Reggie’s health. I know he will not regain his mobility, but I am his “walker,” and with Dr. Inna’s guidance, I hope to give him a happy, comfortable rest of life. I am no longer quite the skeptic of alternative medicine!
I was so happy and relieved to have Inna Vet take care of my French bulldog when he had a slipped disk in his neck and was in pain for weeks. After the first acupuncture treatment from Dr. Magner, he was dramatically better and I took him off his pain meds! The whole staff is professional and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to have such a uniquely high caliber of veterinary care in the SF Bay Area!
Dr. Inna and her assistant, Autumn, have gone above and beyond to provide excellent compassionate care for our 14 year old miniature dachshund, Oscar. Since his cancer diagnosis in April 2019, Oscar was originally treated for intestinal lymphoma with chemotherapy only. Once Oscar’s cancer stopped responding to first line chemotherapy and rescue agents, the oncologist gave Oscar a prognosis of two weeks to a month left to live. We wanted Oscar to be as comfortable as possible and maintain his quality of life during the remaining time that we had left with him. We found Dr. Inna during a search for palliative care / hospice treatment options. Since we had exhausted all Western treatment options, we felt that we had nothing to lose and decided to give Traditional Chinese Medicine a shot. Dr. Inna’s treatments have extended Oscar’s lifespan and maintained his quality of life significantly. Oscar receives biweekly acupuncture and B12 aqua acupuncture treatments with Dr. Inna. Oscar takes Chinese herbal medicine as well. Dr. Inna also taught us acupressure techniques that we could perform at home. I believe that the combination of these therapies are what has allowed Oscar to survive beyond the oncologist’s prognosis. 10 weeks later, Oscar is still energetic, enjoying life, and attacks his toys vigorously. Dr. Inna constantly researches additional creative treatments to complement Oscar’s care, including laser therapy, infrared therapy, ozone therapy, to name a few. She has been flexible with fitting us in for house calls and responsive to any concerns, even on weekends. We only wished that we had started treatment with Dr. Inna earlier when Oscar was first diagnosed with cancer. We truly believe that if we had Dr. Inna’s holistic treatment options, in conjunction with chemotherapy, Oscar’s quality of life could have been greatly improved and his lifespan possibly extended longer.
