Our company had problems with our tax returns submitted to the IRS and State of CA by Byrne and Seligman. We went to another firm and have been getting great service from them for over a year. Overall, if you have a good bookkeeper/accountant then payment of taxes is simple and should not be costly or time consuming. Review Late: Always last minute. I see in other reviews they claim they were waiting on the tax code to be finalized. They fail to realize that this puts stress on the company to accept the tax return with little time for review. I turned in my tax documents and I did not hear from them for a month. Tax deadline day was only a week ahead. I called them and it sounded like they forgot about me. They did rushed and got it done on time. They told me it would be $400 on the phone prior but charged me $600. I asked what was the reason and they said $400 was okay.
