“I recently hired WEST Construction to install synthetic turf in our vacation home in La Quinta, CA. I wanted to share my experience with other viewers so you can get an idea of the outstanding service this company provided to me. First off, when I began searching for turf companies I was bombarded with offers and estimates, I think we initially had about 12 estimates ( I saved some if anyone wants to see how ridiculously expense some other companies are!). I came to hear about WEST Construction through a neighbor who had said that they did her backyard about 7 years ago, and she's still in love with it. I contacted the office and asked if they serviced my area, because their website and YELP say they are based in the San Diego area. The office assistant told me that they service all of Southern California and that they actually work in Nevada and Washington as well. After speaking with her for a few minutes to get the feel of the process, we schedule an on site consultation and set a date. When the salesman arrived he was very polite, professional, and courteous of my dog. He was even wearing an ID badge that was scannable with my iPhone so I could pull up his info and verify who he worked for. This alone made me feel %100 safe and secure. The whole process took about an hour (we have a large back yard) and he was able to thoroughly go through each of his samples and explain each one and make a few suggestions as what would work best with my yard and pet. I liked that he didn't try to oversell me on any one product, he just gave me a professional recommendation and not a personal preference. After I selected a product we chatted for a few minutes about my current landscape and this and that. I had a formal estimate within 2 days. I was still sorting through my pile of estimates so I told Dave ( the sales man) I would get back to him as soon as I had finished looking things over. To be honest, they weren't the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either! I ended up choosing WEST Construction based on the outstanding service I was presented with, and because I was able to verify all of their license information and I was able to see first hand the work they had done before. They were able to explain every detail in their estimate and every cost and made me feel comfortable with them. Other companies just seemed like they were throwing numbers at me and because I am woman they were hoping I'd take it. I didn't, and I called back WEST and told them I'd sign with them. Now to the actual job at hand.My total yard was just under 2,300 SF and I had some serious weeds and holes from my dog! The crew began the excavation on a Monday and they were done and packed up at the end of the day on Thursday. I think they left my property cleaner than it was before they arrived. I won't say I was watching their every move, but I was paying attention, and I knew what I wanted to see get done. There wasn't a time when I noticed anyone just standing around. Everyone seemed to have a specific task to perform and it all flowed quite nicely. I can't thank the guys enough for the work they did. Top notch service all around.
