If I could give Ada 10 stars, I would do it without hesitation! Her massage skills are out of this world! After endless hours of work leaving my muscles screaming for relief, Ada swooped in and worked her magic like a true superhero! Not only did she hone in on every sore spot with precision, but the quality of her massage was beyond compare. The entire vibe of the session was incredibly pleasant, making it an unforgettable experience. Let me ask you this: Are your muscles crying out for some TLC after being pushed to the limit? If the answer is yes, then drop everything and call Ada right this second to book an appointment! Trust me, you won't regret it!

Massage was decent. Don't know why she was trying to have conversation DURING my session. It made it really hard to relax. After everything was done, I handed her a tip and she said, and I quote... "That's it?? Do you have another $5?". Super awkward and uncomfortable. I thought $15 was pretty generous. 2 stars because the massage was good. Could have been 3 if I was able to relax without conversation. Could have been 5 if I wasnt pressured into tipping what THEY want me to tip. Probably won't be back.

It was the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, my back and shoulder pain was flaring up and, adding insult to injury, I was coming down with a severe migraine attack. Having spent most of the prior two months in a near-endless cycle of these persistent pains, Only a few days prior I received my final Covid immunization shot, so I decided that I going back for massage therapy was worth the risk, so long as I could find a clean and professional location with same-day availability. For the past several years I had been seeing the massage therapists at the North County Wellness Center, all of whom I still recommend. However, at the beginning of the prior year, they were no longer covered by my insurance, and the out-of-pocket cost was far more than I could afford. Enter the Relaxation Spa, which came highly recommended to me by my former chiropractor. They provided an exceptional, professional, clean, Covid-free, and truly relaxing environment. When I called, I was able to book an hour-long appointment to start a mere two hours later. The cost of that hour was only $50, and I was told that if I used a credit card there would be a $1 fee added to the transaction, just $1. I have never gotten a massage of that length for that low a price, even when I had insurance picking up part of the tab. Better still, when another client cancelled, they called and let me know that I could come in early! Walking in, I was greeted by my massage therapist, Mia, who examined me, and asked me questions, to insure that I was Covid-free, before allowing me to move past the door in the lobby; they take the CDC protocols very seriously (very reassuring). She then asked that I pay for my hour appointment up front... [Short side note: I have read all of the nasty reviews complaint about this practice. This is the standard practice for every profession that involves physical workouts or therapy, be they chiropractors, acupuncturists, skating rinks, dance studios, or firing ranges. What's the fuss, folks? This is America, you pay for what you want, period.] ...and Mia then directed me towards a very clean massage table with fresh linens and towels in a private, relaxing, room that was, to my surprise, much nicer than any I had been in before. The deep-tissue and trigger-point massage Mia gave unknit every kink in my spine, relaxed my neck down through my shoulders, all the way to my finger tips, cleared my head of the building tension that had formerly been the early stages of a wicked migraine, and simply left me in a state of pure relaxation. Though I have tried, words cannot express my gratitude for her help in my time of need. The location is easy to spot: the Spa shares the same plaza as Mama Kats, just a block away from San Marcos Blvd and Via Vera Cruz. If you are in pain, or are bunched up in knots and need to relax, don't waste your time sitting in agony: book an appointment at Relaxation Spa. Of the many places, and massage therapists, I have gone to for help, Mia is the best!
