I've studied and taught karate all over the world for the past 50 years. A few years ago I attended this dojo because Aikido has always fascinated me. I found it to have an elitist attitude (at least toward me - fear? My age? ?). Very disappointing. Perhaps it has changed by now. Hopefully.
My daughter has come here for a little over 5 months. She loves it and does not want to go back to dance. The teachers are great. They teach self-discipline and respect. The atmosphere is encouraging and happy.
Our daughter (4 1/2 year old) just started to come to the dojo few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. Sensei Mike has been very warm and welcoming from the begining and our little aikidoka has already starting to show progress. We highly recommend it!
