Dr. O'Reilly and his staff have always gone the extra mile to make sure I understood exactly what was going on with treatments, procedures, etc. My cat was always cool and calm leaving his office and that's something to appreciate in a Vet.Highly recommend
*For the Vaccine Clinic and Staff*My credibility to support these claims is that I've been to a lot of vets and also I've worked at two really amazing dog kennels, still do!We came in today, Saturday around 12:30pm, thirty minutes before they closed. I think the front desk was amazing at greeting the customers, taking the time to be efficient with her and my time. There was already two groups ahead of us and then another group came in after. So, I thought they would be pretty slammed with only 30 minutes left in their work day. But to my surprise, they were very efficient and we were out of there by 1:07. *For the Vaccine Clinic and Staff* My credibility to support these claims is that I've been to a lot of vets and also I've worked at two really amazing dog kennels, still do! We came in today, Saturday around 12:30pm, thirty minutes before they closed. I let the staff know I really appreciated them staying after and they were gentle and kind with my 1 year old beagle. She didn't even feel the shots being administered! Thank you to our Vet Tech! They don't require a first exam for your dogs before doing the vaccines, which I love! It basically takes off like $100+ from your growing vet bills for our furry friends. Not only that is they charged me around $95 for four vaccines: DHPP, Rabies, Bordatella and Lepto. I've been to other clinics and they are about the same price as going here. So might as well get established as a client while you're getting your fido's vaccines. We will be having an exam within the next month. I will post again about the next time I come in! Seems like they really just are trying to make vet care more affordable for everyone. One last thing I appreciated that even though the Dr was busy he still checked in on his Vet Technicians to see if they needed help. I just thought it was a very heart warming show of leadership. You can tell the staff they're work hard. *Opinions on negative reviews that I've read: See below* I know some people feel like vet appointments should take just as much time as human appointments do. But honestly it depends on how many problems a dog has and how tolerable they are with people. All my best vets were quick because they knew exactly what they were doing and my dog is very used to being touched. It's not like you're paying for every minute, you are paying for the Doctor's knowledge and expertise. Also, just remember the Dr can recommend treatments, but you never have to follow through. I think this is the kind of Dr who wouldn't want to rush you on a decision and push you to do a surgery to make an extra buck off you. I think it's up to the owners to do their research and make sure that they understand what different options they have. Be a proactive owner and do your part to feel like you are making a confident choice for your pet! For the others who commented on here about feeling like the prices were high probably haven't gone to too many other places lol. The have great prices. Our pet friends don't have the power to communicate what is wrong so often times multiple tests need to be taken to figure it out at any vet. It's a small price we pay for our furry friends to stay healthy. Thank you Stenner Creek :)
