“Cal Coast Construction is the most honest, hardworking construction company I've had dealings. They did a complete remodel on my mother's kitchen and dining area and absolutely nailed it! Transforming a boring old kitchen area was exactly what that little house needed. They vaulted the cielings to give a TON more headroom and a bigger, more wide open feel. The custom cabinetry was all perfect to size and done impeccably. Caleb and his team even found the perfect refrigerator, stove unit, and microwave oven, as well as running all the duct work and venting. Working with Cal Coast Construction was so easy and painless that I recommend everyone that has a large job like this to at least call and get an estimate. I got way more than my money's worth and I couldn't be happier with the result. I called Thoma Electric the next day and Jason Garcia came out the same day. It turned out the GFCI unit was badly burnt (see photo); I was one step away from an electrical fire that could have destroyed my home.Jason quickly replaced the burnt unit, then explained that my 2,000 watts hairdryer (commonly sold these days) generates a 16+ amp current that overloaded my 15 amp circuit. The first thing I noticed was that we had an appointment for 12:30 and Bryan showed up at exactly 12:30. I appreciate that so much because many other services give a two hour window. Bryan was extremely professional and did a good job of explaining what the repairs would entail and getting my okay before ordering parts. When the parts came in he let me know and we made another appointment that he showed up on time for. The repairs he completed were high quality and I am very happy with the results. He fixed two kitchen drawers and an abnormal patio door with a broken deadbolt. Bryan was professional, prompt, kind, and clean. Update: I hired Bryan again to fix a light in my garage.
