Receiving bodywork from Heather was such a gift. From the moment I entered her space I knew I was in for a treat. She creates an environment of calm and safety, and intuitively knows what parts of the body need the most care. Her approach is gentle and effective. I personally have a hard time with letting down all my walls while receiving massages, especially as a first time client, but I never felt any strangeness during our time together. The impact of her work goes far beyond the physical body too; during the session I felt many emotional and mental shifts as she worked her magic on my energy body. When I started seeing Murat for a shoulder injury my mobility was very limited and pain was constant. I wasn’t of the mind to do anything invasive or take medications or shots. And I’m very glad I didn’t go that route. My shoulder mobility has improved exponentially and the pain is gone. It takes time and patience but working with his modalities has given me the ability to continue with teaching yoga and improved my own practice. I wish I hadn’t waited as long as I did but the improvement is phenomenal. He will always ask what my needs are before he starts and he’s very intuitive as well. I highly recommend seeing him if you have any issues or if you just want the best relaxation massage ever.

This is the greatest barbershop on the planet. Well at least it is for me. sherri is my barber.and she is absolutely amazing. When she cuts my hair, it's obvious that she takes 110% pride in her work. She's very detailed. Also the hot shaves are off the charts. I have to admit that I was very nervous letting a woman get that close to my throat with a straight razor but I'm still alive and kickin. Anyway I highly recommend that everyone check out Anderson Barbershop.

I’ve been going to Skyn lounge since before it was Skyn lounge and in its current location! Since it’s moved to foothill and the new owners have taken over it’s gotten continuously more amazing! They have sooo many options for purchase from lotions to skin care products to tattoo protection! Lauren is awesome and they have different specials each month as well as spray tans and an esthetician who does facials! Recently they’ve started partnering with different local businesses and are selling clothes, fake nails, jewelry, and permanent jewelry all in the same place! Can’t say enough great things about it here!

The entire time I thought I had the best skincare regimen with the best products for my face! I went in to get my VERY first facial with Ashley in Paso! I was super nervous and had no idea what to expect, it was the BEST THING I've ever done. She walked me through everything prior, explained what she was doing while she did it, and was extremely gentle. When she was finished she explained what she had seen while working with my skin, and then explained that she wasn't going to push her product on me but made a suggestion about what my skin needs! I obviously bought the products and did my washes with them, my skin is seriously thanking me! I am absolutely stunned with how glowy it is especially when I added my typical moisturize skin care products!! I will definitely go back!

The absolute best stylist team. I literally ONLY trust Natalie and her team (Kristen, especially!) to do my hair and make up. I use them for all my photography clients, and my clients always look AMAZING, natural and like themselves. She can do make up for literally all ages, just the other day she styled up a 65 year old woman so perfectly, and then right to a 25 year old bride, and a 17 year old high school senior. She's perfect and lovely to chat with while getting styled up, but not toooo chatty (like you can relax). She's just the best.

Phil did an amazing job with my first tattoo. My brother and I had unique tattoos that we wanted to get back to back. Phil was very flexible with his schedule, took his time with our designs, let us move things around as much as we wanted, and ultimately provided an awesome experience. He was very accurate with his original estimate and was super fair when it came to pricing. I'd definitely go back.

A friend highly recommended Patriot Plumbing to me so I called them at 8:15 am on a Monday morning and they were at my house replacing my water heater by 10:00 am! They're friendly, professional and fairly priced. I will be recommending them in the future.
Rick came out on a Sunday when we discovered our water heater was leaking. He was there in 45 minutes and was extremely polite and efficient! He fixed a leaky pipe and didn’t have to replace the whole water heater. He helped clean up the mess and even though it was weekend fee it was completely reasonable! We are new to the area and they will be our plumbers for any future needs!

Moon Appliance Repair is a top-notch company! Bob, Gail, and Mitch are all wonderful, friendly people. Bob is the best repairperson I've ever met; he diagnosed the issue with our ice maker within a second of looking at it, and also helped me on the fly with a dryer issue that arose the morning he arrived for the ice maker. He had the needed part in his truck and fixed it right away! He even let me observe and talked me through what he was doing, because I was curious. Today, Bob and Mitch came by with the ice maker part and fixed it quickly. Gail was always kind and communicative over the phone for scheduling. I highly recommend calling Moon Appliance Repair next time you're in need of repair services! I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Have been using Clint and his dad for my appliance repairs since we moved to the Paso area in 2017. I’ve always appreciated their prompt responses and honesty about the work that was being performed. I have never second guessed their recommendations and have been happy at the end of every job thus far. Highly recommend using them if your appliances are not functioning and at the very least, have them take a look and offer you up some feedback.

Stoneworks is fabulous in quality of work as well as price and reliability. A friend spilled red wine on our stone kitchen floor and we could not get it out. Like, at all. Stoneworks came out promptly and made several visits to apply a poultice to the area. You can literally not even see where the stain was now. PLUS they sealed our new cast stone fireplace + mantel and our new marble coffee table for 1/2 the price the fireplace builders quoted. They know exactly what they're doing and they're super nice to boot! Deserve 6 stars imho.

Had an excellent experience purchasing/installing Virginia millworks' tobacco road 3/4 acacia hardwood floors in our master bedroom. Load out was easy as they forklifted materials into truck. Used the bostik ms-grip adhesive and moisture barrier 2 in 1 product. Install was slab on grade. Jordan realized I'd need another 4 gallons of product. Was different than original estimate. His guidance saved me another trip to store. They were instrumental on proper application of product. Highly recommend shopping here as the staff is knowledgeable and educated on all flooring. Cheers to ll flooring. Best part is they have all the tools you need right there.

Cal Coast Construction is the most honest, hardworking construction company I've had dealings. They did a complete remodel on my mother's kitchen and dining area and absolutely nailed it! Transforming a boring old kitchen area was exactly what that little house needed. They vaulted the cielings to give a TON more headroom and a bigger, more wide open feel. The custom cabinetry was all perfect to size and done impeccably. Caleb and his team even found the perfect refrigerator, stove unit, and microwave oven, as well as running all the duct work and venting. Working with Cal Coast Construction was so easy and painless that I recommend everyone that has a large job like this to at least call and get an estimate. I got way more than my money's worth and I couldn't be happier with the result. As an added bonus, he even made all of the arrangements to get the kitchen, dining room, and living room area all painted to match the appliances, countertops, and tile that was perfectly laid. I can't recommend this company enough for the impeccable work that they did and for the lack of headache. You owe it to yourself to give them a call if you need something done correctly and for the right price.

A hairdryer that I had been using for nearly 2 years suddenly tripped a GFCI outlet, and generated a strong burnt plastic smell. I called Thoma Electric the next day and Jason Garcia came out the same day. It turned out the GFCI unit was badly burnt (see photo); I was one step away from an electrical fire that could have destroyed my home.Jason quickly replaced the burnt unit, then explained that my 2,000 watts hairdryer (commonly sold these days) generates a 16+ amp current that overloaded my 15 amp circuit. I appreciate his efficient work and also his taking the time to explain the problem. The $200 bill was gladly paid.Thank you, Mr. Jason Garcia!

I waited for forever to remodel my mid century galley kitchen in Cayucos but Green Goods gave me the confidence to pull the trigger. They had two young design professionals on the job that helped me immensely in my product selection and gently guided me in the right direction for flooring, paints, hardware, tiles etc. All the contractors were skilled and on time. They were honest, reliable and a charming team. Their billing documents are a bit confusing but they are on hand to explain the details. They stayed on budget for me and worked with my timeline. I'm very happy with the results.
I permanently removed a garage window and hired SLO Plastering to infill the stucco wall. They did an amazing job matching the existing texture! After paint you can barely tell there was a 4' window there before. Wanted to write a shout out to dental hygienist Theresa Pena of Copp Dental, who my husband and I have followed around the SLO county area to various dental offices for 20 + years. Theresa is an ultimate hygiene professional, knowledgeable and committed to her work. She is thorough, patient-focused, doesn't 'cut corners', and is also friendly to boot. My mother, a hygienist for 40 + years, who also had patients follow her from one location to another over the years, also singled Theresa out from other hygienists she had seen (she never disclosed while 'in the chair' that she was in the profession). Knowing my mom and her standards, that was no small accolade.
I have been going to this dental office for about 33 years and the customer service is exemplary! My favorite dental hygienist is Maria and my favorite dentist is Dr. Leopold (first the father, and then the son).
Its been three years since I received treatment from Dr Lapidus, after experiencing years of extreme discomfort, chronic pain, and terrible lockjaw. Before, I had lost motivation to get any better. But the very first appointment he was able to diagnosed my situation, assigned a treatment and the rest is history. He made sure our appointment was dedicated to resolving my issue and for informing me what it was that I was experiencing. I could go on, but the treatment was life changing and it was the best experience I've ever had with a doctor. Id absolutely recommend seeing him, if he can't solve your issue, he will point you where you have to go.

I went to Dr Alexandra with a shoulder issue that came up after training. I could barely raise it. She was able to alleviate the pain through her stretching techniques and deep tissue massage. After the first session I was pretty much 75% pain-free and mobility was improved greatly. More importantly, she was very helpful in pinpointing different areas that are causing the pain in the shoulder. Very impressed with her knowledge and she her approach on body wellness. I’ve since been sending some of my training clients to her. Thank you Doc for all you do!!

Dr. Rosplock is a kind, soft spoken human who is a great communicator. He let's you know exactly what is going to happen next so there are no surprises. He does a thorough job of evaluating your circumstances before proceeding with treatment. His adjustments are nuanced and he's one of the best neck adjusters I've had. Highly recommended. It's a one-man office so he is the only one there so scheduling might require a callback.
I recently had a back injury (pinched nerve). The pain was excruciating. Even with NSAIDs and a prescription muscle relaxer, I could not walk more than a minute. I had never been a chiropractor before. My wife strongly suggested that I see her chiropractor (Dr. Erin Parsons). Dr. Erin is awesome! She is very straightforward and knowledgeable. Just the first appointment brought relief that the pharmaceuticals had not been able to provide. I always feel great after each appointment. My healing was facilitated/accelerated by these visits. Now I am including a monthly appointment with Dr. Erin as part of my wellness routine.
Dr. B is the man. He will explain alot about what he is doing and why. You will leave with knowledge on how to adapt your lifestyle, exercise and habits to maximize the results of his adjustments. I feel that a person can get results inside and outside of his office if they apply it correctly. I got a lot of additional information about my spine health to take with me due to his willingness to be transparent. Very easy down to earth guy to get along with too! I’ll be back if I work in this town again.
Dr. Hadjiyane takes chiropractic care to the next level. My family has been seeing him for the past 20 years, starting when my father had a herniated disc in his neck and was experiencing excruciating pain. Dr. H was the first to accurately diagnose him and even came on his day off to treat my dad! As other reviewers have stated, he never spends less than 30 minutes with you, and his prices are very reasonable. There’s no trying to get you to come in three times a week for the rest of your life (unless you actually need that). He truly cares about his patients, as evidenced by the fact that he remembers and asks after family members. He is a true rare jewel in the chiropractic world!
I was in a car accident in 2022- I had a tbi and whip lash injuries affecting atlas and c2- I went to brain injury rehab and many neck and spine specialists before finding Dr David Vasquez- almost 2 years after the accident I finally started getting lasting relief from his treatment. I have less migraines, less vertigo, I have been able to enjoy my horses again and start recovering in other ways too. Before finding TruHealth Chiropractic I was relapsing from the brain injury and neck ALL the time. For those struggling with an injury or other health problems related to neck/spine/atlas- I know it’s hard to find doctors that care and listen. Something that stands out to me about Dr. Vasquez is he is curious, smart and looking for answers- he took my individual complaints into consideration, repeated x-rays when needed and has amazing technology to show changes that are being made. It has been a hard road to recovery but I literally couldn’t even participate in physical therapy for my head injury until my atlas was adjusted appropriately- he also was not the first atlas specialist I saw- I was in care under another atlas specialist for almost a year with some relief at times but my atlas continued to come out of alignment until Dr.Vasquez stepped in.
Dr. Glimpse and his staff are amazing! Not only was he able to give me relief and on an old neck injury, he performed exercises to help strengthen my rotator cuff on one side. He works on the areas that need attention and teaches you how to do the exercises at home between appointments. Dr. Glimpse is avid about making sure you are seeing results from his treatments. After just a few appointments, I am scheduling out further and further for maintenance. He wants to see improvement instead of keeping you coming in more than needed. Highly recommend!
Andrea is awesome! Besides being excellent at her profession, she’s a great educator. I come away feeling like I know more about myself and armed with exercises that have helped me improve outside our sessions. Highly recommend!
Dr. Valerie Lyon is the best Chiropractor I have been to. She is SO thorough. I have been to a few other chiropractors that don't ask questions, do some quick cracks on your back, and quickly move on to the next client. In my experience here, this is totally not the case. Dr. Lyon is extremely thorough, extremely kind, and also has given me great recommendations to prevent misalignment. She has taken time to get to know me and asks thorough questions to figure out potential causes for the kinks in my neck. I do not feel like "just another client" and do not feel rushed. The other staff here have also been incredibly kind and I have not had any negative experiences here - only positive ones!

I have seen Dr. Todd for quite a few years and currently at his new place since 2020 when he took over the previous practice. I like this new model of just being able to drop in when I need to. I retired in San Luis Obispo and he has kept me on the golf course and able to enjoy retirement. His office is well located and nicely outfitted with various equipment to help my ever aging aches. He cares about his patients!

We have had nothing but fantastic experiences at this office. The receptionists, medical assistants and everyone in between are amazing. They are efficient, answer the phone, follow up and are always pleasant. Dr. Heffernan is the best dermatologist we have ever been to. Can't believe we have such a great doctor available to us in San Luis County. We would recommend this office to our family and friends without any hesitation. Better than all the rest, for sure! I see patients on Yelp complaining about the cost of.care - care is not free! We very rarely have to wait but there are unexpected emergencies or delays. An example would be when Dr Heffernan has to tell you that you have lymphoma. He will give you all the time you need. Isn't that what you would want? Especially, after being misdiagnosed by another local dermatologist for 3 & 1/2 years. THIS OFFICE CARES!

our dog has had such good care and I never feel that I am trying to be "up sold" and encouraged to get more tests, buy more products etc. Also, while at the hospital my husband had a mini health issue. The staff did not feel that he should drive home, so they volunteered to drive him home with our dog who had been treated. Someone followed the car in order to drive the person back to the facility. This was way above and beyond what would have been expected. Cannot say enough good things about the personnel and of course the excellent quality of care for our dog.

I've been taking my dog here for his nail trimming every couple of months for about a year now. They do an excellent job. They're quick, the price is super reasonable, and they treat my dog really well. Being open on Saturdays is also really convenient. Sometimes the nails aren't as short as I'd like, but it's better than going too far and hurting my dog. In short, I have no reason to take my dog anywhere else, The Golden Paw is excellent.

Great workouts and very welcoming studio! I was visiting SLO for 2 weeks and wanted to continue my pilates practice while traveling. I upgraded my existing Club Pilates membership to the Passport membership which allows you to visit almost any CP studio in the US. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the instructors and the class participants, was so friendly; seems to be a great pilates community where everyone knows each other. I did classes with Tiffany (LOVE her energy!), Tammy, Meegan, and Mindy- all great instructors. I look forward to coming back next time I'm in SLO!

Clay provides the best therapeutic massage I’ve ever had. He is thorough, focused, and seems to intuitively understand exactly how and where to release the areas that are tight. When I started seeing Murat for a shoulder injury my mobility was very limited and pain was constant. I wasn’t of the mind to do anything invasive or take medications or shots. And I’m very glad I didn’t go that route. My shoulder mobility has improved exponentially and the pain is gone. It takes time and patience but working with his modalities has given me the ability to continue with teaching yoga and improved my own practice. I wish I hadn’t waited as long as I did but the improvement is phenomenal. He will always ask what my needs are before he starts and he’s very intuitive as well. I highly recommend seeing him if you have any issues or if you just want the best relaxation massage ever.
Had my first 60min Swedish massage. She is very sweet and caring. Her massage skill is excellent. My left shoulder was stiff, and soon enough she found the knot near my scapula and spent much time on it. I felt relaxed and pampered after the session. Would definitely return and schedule a more detailed massage with her. She also paid attention to aftercare of the massage and letting me know what to expect and which exercise can help my shoulder and neck stiffness.

Receiving bodywork from Heather was such a gift. From the moment I entered her space I knew I was in for a treat. She creates an environment of calm and safety, and intuitively knows what parts of the body need the most care. Her approach is gentle and effective. I personally have a hard time with letting down all my walls while receiving massages, especially as a first time client, but I never felt any strangeness during our time together. The impact of her work goes far beyond the physical body too; during the session I felt many emotional and mental shifts as she worked her magic on my energy body. It was the most relaxed I can remember feeling for a very long time! I highly recommend working with her.
