I was recommended to Igor by a friend about five years ago after my previous tax preparer relocated. Since then, Igor has consistently handled my taxes, and my experiences have been thoroughly positive. I prefer scheduling my appointments in the morning as it tends to get busier later in the day, sometimes causing delays if earlier clients aren't fully prepared with the necessary documents. Several friends to whom I've recommended Igor have also been very satisfied with the services they received.

I made an appointment with them last week for the 6th of February for my taxes. I told them I would like a phone appointment and was told that is fine. I let them know a co-worker referred me and she has been doing phone appointments with them as well.So yesterday 02/06/24, my appt was at 4:30pm. I never got a call, so I called the phone line listed online and no one answers. I go to my e-mail and call Igor and finally get him on the phone to tell him I have an appt with Shelia and still haven’t heard anything. Campos tax services is the worst place to do your taxes. The first year or two might be great, of course, so you're lured into going back. But once you receive that notice in the mail from the IRS that your taxes from the past few years (from his services) are being audited and many discrepancies were found, everything will go downhill. Not to mention, my identity was mysteriously stolen those same years. Igor Campos, who is the owner, recommended me not to file for my 2021 taxes until the last two years of amendments were cleared. Then he proceeded to ignore me when I tried to reach him. What kind of tax accountant recommends you to not file for your taxes? Igor is a scam artist and doesn't care about his clients. He will lead you to believe he cares, but he doesn't. If you attempt to reach him for amendments or discrepancies, he will brush you off and keep telling you to wait until you receive a response. Eventually, he will start ignoring you and not return emails, phone calls, and even text messages. He'll act like he's there for you, but he's not. After speaking with other people in this field, the advice was for me to take legal action since there might already be a case open with him. I will definitely be reporting him to the BBB, but I would not be surprised if this place gets shutdown! Igor is unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest, and I recommend everyone to stay away from Campos Tax services.
