Let me start off by saying that she is AMAZING! I called not sure if she was open yet and she was able to squeeze me in on the same day. I have been suffering from insomnia, anxiety, and back pain since November. I started acupuncture in February and was devastated when the pandemic hit because it was really helping me. So when I called and she took me in I dropped everything. I went in with so much back pain I couldn't even sit up straight. She found the spots on my neck where I was holding all of my stress, applied some heat, showed me some stretches to do at home. Basically, she worked a miracle on me. I went home no more back pain, I was sitting up straight, and I slept like a baby. The best I've had in months! I can't wait to see her again!

I am a s***** for professionals who offer support to their community. Dr. Leung offers therapy for Alameda Aliance community members. I was able to receive services for free. When I asked her why she took that medical insurance, i was met with a heartfelt response. She told me it wasn't about money but rather she recognized that she had the ability to serve people in her who would have otherwise been unable to access services due to financial strain. She provided me with tips on how to improve my posture. Shortly after 45 mins of services I noticed remarkable relief. Her office is a bit old in aesthetic/structure and at times her office gets a little busy that can be distracting but i had no issues.

I've visited her one time so far, which isn't long enough to make a good judgement of how well the acupuncture worked... I have tried about 6 or so different acupuncturists in my lifetime and I think I have some knowledge. I complained about migraines and face pain , also shoulder/arm/back pain from being on the computer at work too much. She gave me a brief acupuncture session and showed me some stretches / self massage to do at home. especially my lymph nodes. She seems knowledgeable. However I was not pleased at the end because she neglected to tell me ahead of time in our communication emails that she only takes cash. I had an insurance copay of $15 and since I didn't have cash on me, I had to walk to the neighboring Grocery Outlet to use my debit card and get some cash back in order to pay her. Really wish she could have been more upfront about that or had any signs posted at the front lobby. I think she shares the space with some other doctors as I saw advertising and business cards on display for another doctor. The facilities were old and needed updating, but it was kept relatively clean. Not sure if I will be back or not, she didn't even try to reschedule me for another visit. It was a pretty busy saturday morning when I went.
