“I called in for last minute appointment. It was around 12:45pm and by 1:00 I was there. Soon as I walked in I was seated and Natalie began to cut my hair. I'm very appreciative that Natalie knew exactly how much hair to cut off. I told her I wanted it right below the shoulder and she did just that! She made sure not to over cut my hair. She cut off a good amount without making my hair look too short and Im very happy with the new length because I have wavy frizzy hair and if it's cut too short it puffs up badly. Natalie did not rush through my hair cut and it was fairly quick. She was also gentle. Good price for hair cut too, not overpriced. I was also glad they accepted card payments. THANK YOU!“

I booked a sewin weave with Nikita and it turned out great. Another stylist braided my hair for the install & her hair was so cute. In fact all the stylists had cute hair styles which is always a positive sign!! She clarified any concerns I had and Nikita was involved with the process to ensure my braids were perfection. She oiled my scalp and checked to make sure my braids weren't too tight. Nikita finished my install promptly and made sure the style framed my face well. “Thea is by far the BEST hair stylist out there! I have been going to her for 8+ years and have always been extremely happy with my hair styles. Her flat irons are next level so much so I drive 90 minutes from my house to get one! I love her haircuts (I get long layers with curtain bangs), the clip ins she makes are high quality and last forever. Plus she gives the best hair shampoos! Best of all Thea really cares for my hair as if it were her own. She's patient and explains what my hair needs always focused on getting my hair to a health state. Also, Jazmen who does braids in the salon does phenomenal braids! I could not recommend Thea and Jazmen enough. Run don't walk and book them. Modish Mane will always be my favorite salon!“

“I am writing this post in response to the negative comment I read regarding Lulu's hair cutting techniques... First off, I was shocked to read the post regarding the woman with her curly haircut catastrophe. My experience with Lulu couldn't be more opposite, she saved me from my COVID hair debacle. I literally called Kim ( the owner ) in a panic to see if she could fit me in, she was full but gave me the option to see her assistant. I replied, "no thank you, I need someone with far more experience." Kim reiterated that Lulu was new to Lacquer, not to hair. Desperate as I was I went in and OMG- she worked that sh*t out! Not only did she fix my hair it grew out beautifully. My second appointment I had highlights and a cut, once again AMAZING, to the point where stylists have stopped me on the street to ask who my stylist is.
I would also like to mention that I dated a stylist who was " Vidal " trained and anyone who knows anything about the business also knows how highly regarded these stylists are. Point being, I am not new to having amazing haircuts. Most importantly, she will cut off what needs to be cut so you look your best; trust the process, she's AMAZING!“
