This is a review for our experience with Starburst back in 2020. The relationship started out great and Cindy sold us on their family oriented business and attention to customer service. A few things went wrong right off the bat. They assigned a new project manager to our house at the very beginning. The communication and work slowed down greatly. They removed the floors from one of our bathrooms and it stayed that way for multiple months (our family of 5 was down to one bathroom seemingly without any forward planning). They ordered the wrong size bathroom window for the master without consulting us - making our two bathroom windows different dimensions. They removed portions of the roof but didn't cover those areas before a rainstorm rolled through the area. We tried contacting them multiple times before the rain started but Starburst took no action. The rain fell through the roof and there was water damage in our master bedroom, bathroom, and our child's bedroom (the rain dripped on him while he was sleeping during the night, pictures below). Basically the whole experience was very negative from start to finish. They did not complete the job after we became upset over the rain coming through our open roof. We ended up paying over $125k to Starburst for one bathroom remodel, new closet, and a partial remodel on the second bathroom. Cindy threatened to put a lien on our house when we complained about paying the full amount, even though she knew that the work was not completed and they screwed up the relationship. We had to hire a separate contractor to finish the job (window, tub, sheetrock, tiling, vanity installation, clean up) - Cindy did not agree to any discount for not finishing the job or remedy for the water damage, nor did she refund us for materials owed per contract. In my honest opinion, I would stay away from this company if the same owners/project managers are working there.

I met the owners and they were fabulous people. Installed some yard power for fountain etc. Cindy and Phil were the nicest people. Look forward to eorkung with them for years to come

We had Starburst build our house about 8 years ago and have nothing but positive things to say about the experience or the house! But over the years what has impressed me about Starburst is that they have been there to help us whenever we need it. One time we were on a trip and there was a water leak under the kitchen sink. Not knowing how big the problem was I called Starburst to see if they could help. A short time later they had someone at the house to look at it and fix the issue. This is the same type of service that they always provide when we call for help! When the job is done they don't just walk away, they are still there to support you! At this point I don't feel like a customer I feel like family!
