Randall came out to give me an estimate on a leak over my porch. Since I called him during the dry season, he at first questioned whether there was any leak and told me he saw nothing on the roof to fix. After I poked a few holes in the sheetrock where it had obviously rotted from the moisture, he checked again and found a couple of places where the shingles were loose. He put two shims in and was going not to charge me. Finally I gave him $10 for gas for coming out, as he spent a lot of time talking to me about the condition of the roof and what I should do to avoid getting ripped off or spoiling the appearance of the roof. He seemed very honest and competent.
