Ross just fixed my a/c unit's broken condenser. He was punctual, polite and did the repair quickly. His prices are very reasonable. I will call him any time I need HVAC help. ( has a really classy van, too). Thank you, Ross, for making it possible to sleep in a cool home tonight during this miserable heat wave.

HOLY MOLY!! Ross is brilliant and so honest! I'm never going to lose his number. After my furnace broke, HVAC Gurus came out and after two hours of diagnostics told me that I needed a new board and even if I replaced it - that was not guaranteed to fix my problem because once the bad board gets replaced then they might be able to find something else not working. So they recommended replacing the furnace. A board would cost $1,000 and a new system $5,000. Thank god a friend told me to call Ross. He came in and literally fixed my furnace by correctly diagnosing the problem - he determined that a safety switch had been tripped and needed to be reset. He just pushed a button and the furnace started working again! He saved me thousands of dollars and all he charged me was his small service fee. And since he was here, I asked him to take a look at my air conditioner that hasn't been working for a couple years. I've had 'three' different HVAC techs come out to look at it and none could figure out the problem. He spent less than 10 minutes testing and checking various things and then correctly diagnosed that problem too!! I had a leak in my Freon. He humbly said that he was surprised that no one else could figure that out. He's a master of his trade, very honest, very humble, and very kind. I'm so very grateful. Thank god for people like him. They are a rare find. Stop looking for a good HVAC person. You've found him. You're welcome.

If you're having problems with the heater in your home, I highly recommend calling Ross at South Bay Air in San Jose first. You'll be glad you did. His phone number is 408 440-1692 I had hired a different company first to fix our heater, and after them coming to our house 5 times over a month & replacing parts that cost me almost $700.00, they told me it couldn't be fixed, and I needed to buy a new heater from them. That's when I called Ross at South Bay Air. Ross came to our house and in 1 hour figured out what was wrong with our heater, fixed it & had it running like new.
