There’s a reason she is rated so highly. She is communicates ahead of the appointment to ensure we’re on the same page with expectations and educates you as you. We did a private lesson virtually (which might sound odd but hey it really didn’t feel much different than being in person and I got to practice doing my make up in my own lighting and norm set up). I think my favorite parts of the session was 1) she did not try to sell me on anything - she insisted I already had the tools and make up on hand to give me the look I was going for 2) she was very educational on if I wanted to buy something different this is what I should look for and provided drug store finds or referenced her own line. Also, I liked that her philosophy is about ensuring we take care of our skin instead of spending all our money and effort on make up alternatively. Honestly would recommend to anyone looking to better their skills, have no skills or just looking for a honest consultation with make up lessons. (Side note: it felt great supporting someone local and knowledgeable who built their own business than going to any major retailer who will just sell you on whatever and is not really personalized or has the years of experience Pauline has).
I purchased the Beauty & Wellness facial kit and think the timing was perfect for a very needed pick me up. So thoughtful of you for keeping your clients up to date with our skin care. Love all the goodies in the kit. Thank you Pauline. Can’t wait to come back to the salon.
