Today was my first visit to get an acupuncture treatment done for my TMJ pain. I met Dr. Shamapant who performed the services and it was a magical experience for me. I had informed her that I am a bit scared of needles from my past surgical history but she had ensure me that the needles were very thin. I was in so much pain but she was able to accommodate me with her busy schedule and I really do appreciate everything that she's done for me. She's the most down to earth person and very informative. I'm so happy I found this place!
I have been going to Lokahi for over one year now. In this time, I have been working with Yun Hee and Lara (who is no longer at Lokahi). I'm so grateful for all they have done to help me recover from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome and Bell's Palsy. I would strongly recommend Yun Hee. As a nurse, I mean it sincerely when I say that she is so knowledgeable and compassionate. She has always gone the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and heard as I recovered from my symptoms. I also want to mention that the desk staff have always been nice and welcoming, especially Geneva.
