Even though I moved to Southern California, I still make the trip to San Jose to see Nancy. She's been doing my hair for over 20 years. She's always managed to fit me in the schedule and I've never found anyone who cuts as well as she does. My mother and many of her friends also go to her!Service: Hairstyling

Lovely staff, very well spoken. She took additional effort and made sure my hair looked good even though I wasn't too picky about that. Very affordable. I recommend this place for sure. Clean and hygienic. There was a slight wait time but there were girardelli chocolates and water, magazines to keep you occupied! Please tip well :D

Noelle's Yelp Notebook 2018 Jenny's Beauty Salon is located in the Cambrian area of San Jose near the Robertsville Post Office. It's in a small shopping center near a Real Estate Office and some other small businesses. The inside is clean and organized. It's not the type of salon that offers champagne. It's just a regular non-fancy no frills type of salon. There are two women that are hair stylists here - Phyllis and Nancy. Jenny was the original owner of the salon probably 35 years ago and is no longer the owner or affiliated with the business. The current owner has owned this business for nearly 30 years. About 5 years ago I got a horrible hair color job and wanted to go back to my natural blue black hair. I turned to Yelp and found Jenny's Beauty Salon. Nancy was really nice on the phone and she told me that she had time to color my hair. Nancy did an amazing job and colored my hair back to it's beautiful blue black color and used protein filler to keep my hair healthy. Just today, I was in desperate need of a trim. I called the salon and Nancy wasn't available. Phyllis said she had time and was able to shampoo, cut, thin out my super thick hair and blow dry my hair. It looked amazing. I'm very happy with my new trim. Customer service on both occasions have been positive. Both Phyllis and Nancy are professional, kind and good at their profession. To address the anyone who might be concerned - both ladies are fluent in English. There is a Yelp review on this business listing clearly stating that these ladies do not speak English which is a complete falsehood. Also, when did it become a crime to speak another language other than English in America? Don't believe the lies in other Yelp reviews. Bottom line both Phyllis and Nancy are awesome. My dentist whose dental practice is located in the Rose Garden area of San Jose has been going to Nancy for over 20 years. These two ladies have a strong client base. They accept cash or credit cards but tips must be in cash. I'm definitely coming back to Phyllis for my haircuts from now on. I know most of my friends know I love to frequent the fancy places but when you find someone that is great at haircutting- you'll want to stick with them :) 5 Yelp stars for the excellent haircut and customer service!
