At 8:47 this morning a big white van pulled up to me in my neighborhood and said “hey mami you look so hot.” Before smiling and driving away I got his license plate 77692u2 his name is Alex and works for your company I have called about writing a formal complaint about this employee however no one responded I want people to know Alex call calls random women on the street and made me feel extremely violated and unsafe in my own neighborhood. This happened on March 11th Berkeley California on Carleton St.

J and A were subcontractors that built an adu in our backyard. Much of the work was done but it took over a year to get final inspection and they abandoned us in several key areas that failed. I had to pay for 2 hot water heaters because they could not get the first one to work despite the fact that the manufacture wanted them to call for technical assistance. We have constant electrical problems with losing power. We also paid $3000 for a minisplit that they installed incorrectly and would not help me trouble shoot. In the end I paid about $2000 to get further diagnosis and Freon added and ultimately had to spend another $7000 to fully replace the units which are brand new. This job was difficult due to the pandemic but that was not our fault. I was very disappointed.

We got a new front porch constructed and a full bathroom remodeled with J&A Builders - and we are very happy with the outcome. Juan and Adriana were very communicative and honest throughout the process, and were also accommodative to our change requests. Everything was done up to code and on time, which was our main priority. We are very thankful to Juan, Adriana, and their entire crew for a hassle-free construction process. I would highly recommend them for any construction needs!
