After paying $40 plus a $5 tip to other men's barber shops, I found Izzys Barber Shop for $22 plus a $3 tip for a better cut. Conveniently located in Almaden Valley, offers plenty of parking with neighboring shops. Izzy's Barber Shop is a hidden gem of quality cuts while saving money during hyperinflation. A clean shop with comfortable chairs and soft music wafting in the background makes for a relaxed setting. My barber was Danny, who listened to what I wanted: a low fade around the ears with a taper in the back, and a layer cut on top. Danny delivered on what I requested and finished up with a razor shave around my ears and the back of my neck. In summary, the best cut I have had in years. I will be going back again and again. They only accept cash.
My son gets his hair cut at Izzy's every couple of months. We wouldn't come back if Danny didn't do a good job. The customer service is excellent. There are always customers but the wait is never long. His haircut costs $22 (cash only). Usually 2-3 barbers available most days it seems. Their shop has candy and treats for kids too. It's always kept clean. I would recommend a friend or family member to Izzy's Barber Shop.
Definitely the best barbershop I have been to and very well priced. Everyone here does a great job. I have dual cowlicks that have historically been unmanageable by other barbers even at way higher prices. Hair and beard trims come out perfect everytime and this is a place I will always come back to.
