I asked for a butterfly cut and a trim to touch up my layers and Audrey blew me away. She was careful and diligent. She has 6 years of hair cutting experience and is knowledgeable of Korean hair trends and contemporary hairstyles. She offers men and women haircuts and a variety of perms. The studio is #20 and she texted me directions on how to locate the salon and where to park which I appreciated. I asked Audrey how she came up with the name for her hair studio and she said she drew inspiration from the rodem tree from the Bible and she aims to help her clients feel refreshed from their difficult lives. I definitely felt brand new after my cut. I would come here again! No tipping allowed which is nice!“

“This is a shout out for Janne and Amy! My go-to hair stylist relocated, a bit too far from my area. So I had to search through all of Yelp to find another salon that can handle my hair. I had the pleasure of booking a hair appointment with Janne back in Dec and she did me a huge favor by chopping off a lot of my highlighted hair I did three years ago. “Another great haircut from Nana, a warm and welcoming lady. I came in for eye brow threading by Arabelle and was so satisfied that I stayed to chat with Nana. Busy as she was, she squeezed me in for a hair wash, cut and style. All very reasonably priced. Arabelle was professional, walked me step by step, together we came up with a plan and executed. “Lily saved my butchered hair!! I got my hair done in Tokyo which was a mistake. My hair streaks were chunky and fringe was horrendously light. They have a yearly membership or monthly depending on how often you want to get your kids hair cut. My 7 y/o daughter was able to get hair tinsels after I failed miserably trying to do them myself! As for my 6 y/o son he was happy getting a hair cut while playing with their Xbox and after a good hair wash. She uses quality products that doesn’t irritate my scalp (sensitive to many). Went from just a touch-up (she records your color combination to ensure it’s the same every time), to highlights and cut. “This is my fourth attempt writing this, as Google doesn't save what was written when I have to switch over to another app and then the page refreshes. I only write reviews if I'm really angry or really happy. This review for Jojo's is for the latter as I AM VERY HAPPY!! Therefore, the page refreshing will not deter me from posting this review. I want to get the word out! I have only had a short cut twice in my life, and both times were only done in South Korea. The reason is quite simply that they're just better with beauty/hair/makeup. They understand my hair texture as well as recent trends. After I got back from Korea, I wanted to maintain it but wasn't sure who to go see for a trim. My colleague referred me to Jojo as she's been a customer for years (dare I say decades?). I trust her judgment on fashion and trends as she understands when I am particular about certain things. I made an appointment not knowing what to expect.

I was helped right away with a robe, refreshment, and hair wash. Jojo could tell I was tense not knowing what to expect, but reassured me throughout. I walked out of the salon looking better than when I walked in. He not only trimmed my hair, but also fixed my haircut. I didn't even realize there was fixing that needed to be done. I had left Kore liking the cut, but I assumed it was because it was so drastic. At Jojo's I walked out in love with my cut. Jojo thinned out the excess weight but left in enough to still look voluminous. I let him know that I wanted little to no maintenance. He cut it in a way where "[I] wouldn't have to do anything." He cut it so that I just roll out of bed. Literally. I roll out of bed, and maybe put in hair oil to keep it soft and that's all that's required. This was achieved by seeing how my hair responds when wet or dry. Jojo also cut my hair in a way to help cover my strong cow's lick as well as cut the base in a way that elongates my neck since so much was exposed now.

Jojo's is great for short cuts. Although I will be growing out my hair a bit, I will return with confidence when I decide to lob off my hair again. Thank you, Jojo!

She asked me all sorts of questions to make sure he gave me the exact cut I wanted. I am always a little nervous going to a new hair salon but my friend (who has straight hair) previously went to Rachael and loved her hair so I knew I had to go to her! It's hard finding a hair stylist who cuts and cares for curly hair as good as Rachael did! She is so kind and caring. Please consider her for your next hair appointment!“

While working Mimi asks the appropriate questions about daily routines and gives advice on simple changes to improve hair health and less tangling.
